This is quick and easy. I’ve been growing lots of lettuce leaves in random containers every where there is a bit of free space on a window sill. It’s so easy and the pleasure of picking the salad right there and there before eating is second to none. It’s far cheaper than the pre-packed stuff as well.
Salad leaves, some watermelon, 1/2 lime juice, feta, salt, pepper, olive oil.
Place the lettuce leaves on your plate.
Add the cut watermelon. Season with the salt, pepper, lime juice and olive oil.
Crumble the feta on top and tuck in!
